Nonwovens manufacturer J.H. Ziegler has been granted certification according to the Automobile Quality Standard TS 16949
J.H. Ziegler GmbH & Co. KG has been granted certification according to the currently valid quality standard ISO/TS 16949:2002, which is specific to the automobile industry, for the first time after successfully passing the audit. This standard encompasses the requirements for both the European Standard VDA 6.1 and the US QS 9000.
This certification expands on the ISO 9001 certification the company has had since 1995.
Dr. Peter Hartwig, J.H. Ziegler’s Managing Director, declared: “We are pleased to corroborate our commitment to the automobile supply branch with this certification. We are one of the first European nonwovens manufacturer to meet the challenge of the TS 16949 requirements. Our turnover in the automobile industry area has grown strongly over the last few years, so that the motor vehicle sector is already our biggest single market today. We want to continue to grow, particularly with our innovative products in comfort and acoustics applications.”
