J. H. Ziegler GmbH acquires natural fiber nonwovens manufacturer Quadrant Natural Fiber Composites GmbH

Achern-based J.H. Ziegler GmbH has acquired 100% of the shares of Quadrant Natural Fiber Composites GmbH, a manufacturer of natural fiber nonwovens in Lambrecht (Germany). With this acquisition, the manufacturer of synthetic fiber nonwovens has expanded its product portfolio with nonwovens made of renewable raw materials.
Corporate activities will be integrated into the Ziegler group under the new name of J.H. Ziegler Natural Nonwovens GmbH. Production and development of natural fiber products will continue at the Lambrecht factory. These products will be marketed by J.H. Ziegler GmbH in Achern, for which the same contact persons will remain responsible.
"With this expanded portfolio, we aim to strengthen our position in the automotive sector as a supplier of innovative nonwoven solutions. Natural fiber nonwovens are frequently used by customers who are already using our microfiber nonwovens as acoustic insulating materials. In future, renewable resources will become more important in all industrial sectors. We will utilise our marketing resources outside the automotive industry to develop applications for renewable raw materials in the plastics and construction industries.
