Structure
HACOtex is a nonwoven laminated with a covering material on one or both sides. The core material can be a voluminous nonwoven, such as HACOsoft or a needle-punched nonwoven, such as HACOloft A range of different materials can be used as the covering layer, depending on the application and the customer's requirements. These include charmeuse, spun-bonded web and foils as well as all kinds of textiles.
Characteristics
The overall properties of HACOtex depend on the properties of the core nonwoven and the laminating materials. HACOfix is a special variant that is laminated with Velcro.
Applications
HACOtex is used wherever HACOsoft or HACOloft is suitable as the core nonwoven, and particularly if there are stringent requirements for the surface of the product, e.g. with respect to the strength or abrasion resistance or special designs.
