Ziegler has been operating worldwide for many years as a competent partner for
nonwovens and as a supplier to many prestigious automotive manufacturers.
Application fields One of Ziegler's key applications in automotive
manufacture is our soft-touch technology. Our products can be used as an alternative
to foams for seat padding under leather or textile covers or as
a soft padding on central armrests or door trims. They provide particularly pleasant
haptics and also allow unusual designs. The material is antistatic and hard-wearing,
transports moisture and heat well, reduces noise levels and is also particularly
durable. All elements can be tailored to the respective type of application.

Haco® nonwovens are also used for acoustic insulation, e.g.
on the instrument panel, glove compartment, centre console, roof pillars as well
as door trims and boot linings. They have a high noise absorption/weight ratio.
Ziegler delivers the absorbers cut to size and ready for installation. They can
also be laminated with adhesive films upon request.

The product can be upgraded further by additional hydrophobic, oleophobic,
antistatic and/or antibacterial finishes. Ziegler uses different nonwoven
designs to tailor HACO nonwovens to the respective fire protection requirements.
Furthermore, HACO products can be used as coverings or auxiliary materials
in lamination processes and to produce shaped components. Various HACO
products are used in the automotive industry, and they all have several things in
common: they are available in different colours, they can adapt flexibly to all
shapes and are suitable for thermoforming. Moreover, they do not emit any odours
and have very low emission values. In addition to all their technical properties,
HACO products represent environmentally compatible solutions by allowing weight
reductions, recyclability and utilisation of renewable resources.
